Mauritius Entry Requirements for Saudi Citizens and Residents

The current immigration advisory temporarily restricts entry for foreign nationals who have visited or transited the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda or South Sudan in the preceding 21 days. Different rules apply to Mauritian nationals and valid Mauritius permit holders, including quarantine. Reopen the official notice before travel.

Do Saudi travellers need a Mauritius visa?
The government country list states “No visa required” for Saudi Arabia. Admission and stay length remain an immigration decision, not a guarantee created by a hotel booking or visa exemption.
Carry a recognised passport valid beyond the intended stay, a return ticket, eligibility to re-enter your country of origin or residence, sufficient funds and confirmed accommodation or sponsorship. Tourist entry does not authorise paid work.
A resident with a non-Saudi passport follows that nationality’s rule. The official list gives different examples: Egypt and India require no visa, the Philippines is listed for a sixty-day visa on arrival, and Pakistan requires a visa before travel. Recheck each row for your trip.

WHEN A PRIOR VISA IS REQUIRED
Your application documents must support the whole visit
The official application page requests a signed form, two recent passport photos, passport data-page copies, a return-ticket reservation, the last month’s bank statement and hotel or sponsorship documents. Applicants residing outside their country of origin need a residence permit valid for at least three months after the proposed departure from Mauritius.
Additional accompanying-person documents may include a marriage certificate or children’s birth certificates. Minors need parental consent, a birth certificate and copies of the parents’ passports. Documents should be translated into English or French as required.
Immigration asks applicants to apply at least a month before travel. Twelve working days is an indicative period for a complete application, as far as practicable—not a guaranteed deadline. The official visa is free; wait for the outcome before travel.

Mauritius All-in-One and health declaration forms
The immigration advisory requires all passengers to complete the All-in-One Travel Form and Health Declaration Form before boarding an aircraft or vessel to Mauritius. Use the official Safe Mauritius portal linked by immigration, follow its current instructions and keep completion evidence accessible.
Match each traveller’s identity, flight and accommodation details to the documents. Do not send form codes, passport scans or health information in a public chat. Do not mistake a third-party paid service for the government portal.

Health checks follow the route, not only nationality
Check yellow-fever certificate requirements against the countries visited and transited and the age of each traveller. A Saudi departure does not, by itself, settle the rule when the route includes other countries.
Temporary entry restrictions and vaccination certificates are separate requirements. Recheck the government advisory shortly before travel and ask the airline about the full transit itinerary. A qualified health professional should advise on vaccination suitability and timing.
CHILDREN, INSURANCE AND MEDICINES
A separate document check for each traveller
Children’s passports
Check every child’s travel document and match the name and birth date to the ticket and forms. A birth certificate alone is not a substitute for a recognised travel document.
Consent and relationship
Prior-visa applications for minors require consent and family documents. Reconfirm carrier rules for travelling with one parent or another companion.
Insurance scope
The general immigration entry page does not list insurance as a universal tourist condition. Check your case and review medical, evacuation, activity and cancellation cover.
Medicines
Keep appropriate prescriptions and clearly identified original packaging. Confirm controlled-medicine and quantity rules with the relevant authority and carrier.
