7- AND 9-DAY BOSNIA ITINERARIES
A clear route from city streets to nature
This is a planning outline, not a confirmed booking. Your flight arrival time and departure airport determine the final order; driving times, the season and children's ages also affect the number of stops. The aim is to experience each place, rather than spend the trip moving between the car and a long photo checklist.
Sarajevo: arrival and the city's identity
Settle in on arrival day, then spend time in the old town, Baščaršija and selected sights at a pace that suits your trip. A day in nearby nature or a private tour can be arranged after checking the weather and opening hours.
Mostar: the Neretva and the Old Bridge
A carefully timed transfer with selected stops, followed by enough time for the old town, bridge and surrounding area. We combine Kravica Waterfalls or Blagaj into a single day only when the route makes sense and is not exhausting.
Departure without a rush
The final day is built around your departure airport and flight time. If you fly home from Sarajevo, we allow for the drive and airport buffer; a final night near the airport may be better than a long, very early departure.
Four nights and room for a slower day
Less crowding in the schedule makes it possible to separate city sightseeing from a nature excursion, with a practical arrival day rather than counting it as a full sightseeing day.
Three nights around the Neretva
Mostar remains a main base, with visits spread according to the season, crowds and driving time—not the shortest marketing checklist.
One extra night in one place
We choose an area suited to your family or couple after checking the hotel and road, then keep departure day separate. The extension is repriced in full.
THE WRITTEN QUOTE IS THE PRODUCT
Hotels, flights and transfers without grey areas
We do not list unconfirmed hotel names or judge quality by stars alone. In Bosnia, location, vehicle access, a lift, room size and breakfast may matter more than a category difference on paper. We send alternatives that you can compare against the same criteria.
Accommodation
The quote states each hotel's name, area, rating, room type, beds, occupancy, meals, taxes and cancellation policy. For families, we clarify connecting rooms or an apartment and the number of bathrooms if needed; the word “family” is not a sufficient description.
Flights
We compare flights from your actual departure city, with sector times, connections, booking class, baggage allowance and airports. The cheapest is not always best if it adds a long connection or late arrival requiring an extra night and transfer.
Driver and transport
The quote specifies whether the vehicle is private or shared, its actual capacity after luggage, service hours, meeting points, waiting time, tolls and parking. A full-day tour does not automatically mean the driver is available in the evening.
Validity and confirmation
Every price has an expiry time or date. Price and availability may change until payment is completed and the supplier confirms. We explain instalments, currencies, change and cancellation policies, and what can be confirmed immediately versus what needs a separate check.
Do not rely on a number without detail. Ask for a quote stating your travel dates, hotel, flights, inclusions, validity, payment terms and change and cancellation conditions.
PACKAGE BOUNDARIES
What can be included—and what we do not assume
Services that can be explicitly included
- International flights from Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, with baggage.
- 6 or 8 nights, with hotel names, room categories and meals specified.
- Airport arrival and departure transfers, and private or shared intercity transport.
- Sarajevo, Mostar, Blagaj and Kravica tours, depending on the itinerary.
- An escort or guide in your requested language when available and confirmed.
- Travel insurance and a visa-requirements review on request.
Do not treat these as included without written terms
- Visa fees, guaranteed visa issuance or an entry decision.
- Meals, personal expenses and tips unless listed.
- Attraction, activity and boat tickets, or local charges.
- Unlimited driver service beyond the written hours.
- A hotel, view or connecting-room upgrade.
- Free changes, refunds or name changes after ticket issuance.
When comparing two quotes, keep nights, cities, airports, baggage, room type, meals, vehicle hours, tours and cancellation terms the same. A quote may look cheaper because it excludes flights or attraction tickets, or transports the family in a vehicle that cannot fit the luggage. That is why we prefer a written breakdown to a brief number in a message.
BEFORE A NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING
Entry and destination information from primary sources
A seasonal exemption—not a rule for every trip
The Bosnia and Herzegovina Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists a 2026 exemption for Saudi ordinary-passport holders from 1 June to 30 September, for up to 60 days within that period. It states that a visa is required for stays after 30 September 2026. Do not apply the summer exemption to an autumn trip or assume it covers a future season; check your dates, nationality, passport type and carrier requirements before committing to restricted services.
Bosnia and Herzegovina MFA — Saudi Arabia ↗A World Heritage site, not just a photo stop
UNESCO inscribed the Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar in 2005. The site's architecture brings together Ottoman, Mediterranean and European influences. Allow time to explore on foot, considering heat, crowds and each traveller's mobility.
UNESCO World Heritage Centre ↗A final review before departure
Even where an exemption applies, the carrier or border authorities may request documents related to your trip. We recheck passports, insurance, bookings, return travel and passenger names before departure. Boarding and entry decisions belong to the relevant authorities; a travel agency cannot guarantee them.

For families, couples and nature lovers
Families
Send children's ages at the time of travel, required safety seats, luggage and pushchair details, and whether everyone can walk on stone paving or slopes. We keep arrival day light, reduce hotel changes, and choose a vehicle that fits both passengers and bags. We also check breakfast, beds and the lift rather than relying only on star ratings.
Couples
Privacy and quiet may call for a location away from crowds or a room with a view, but we do not promise a view, decoration or a specific bed without confirmation. A private experience, dinner or free time can be added, with a clear distinction between paid arrangements and suggestions. A 9-day version usually offers more breathing room than a rushed, packed schedule.
Nature lovers
Nature trips depend on the season, weather, daylight and road conditions. We choose a few worthwhile stops and a weather alternative, rather than making the success of the trip depend on one place. Suitable shoes, water, insurance and mobility limits are part of planning; do not assume every site suits a pushchair or reduced mobility.
HOW IS THE FINAL PRICE BUILT?
Six decisions that prevent surprises
A Bosnia package price is not just a hotel plus an airline ticket. It covers an interconnected scope: changing the timing, airport, room or vehicle may change the total. That is why we record assumptions and separate the choices before requesting payment.
Dates and flexibility
A day or two of flexibility may change flight and hotel options, while peak seasons and holidays increase demand. We identify the travel window, actual nights and any occasion that cannot move. A late arrival is not counted as a full sightseeing day, and a nature excursion is not placed before an early international departure.
Departure and flight route
We specify airports, flights, connections, duration, booking class and baggage. If arrival and departure use different airports, we account for the effect on transport and nights. A cheaper ticket may cost more after adding a bag, night or long transfer, so we compare the total trip rather than a single line item.
Rooms and occupancy
A double room does not always mean a double bed; a child may need a paid bed or breakfast under hotel policy. We write down room and bed counts, size, meals, taxes and cancellation terms. Connecting rooms or an apartment appear as requests requiring confirmation, not automatic promises.
Vehicle and service hours
We choose the vehicle after knowing passenger numbers, luggage and child seats. The quote states whether it covers a transfer only or a car with driver for specified hours, and what waiting, parking and tolls include. Changing the itinerary during the trip may require approval and an additional charge, especially if the day runs longer or the city changes.
Tours and tickets
We distinguish private from shared tours, a guide from a driver, and admission tickets from transport. Dates, meeting points, language and cancellation policies are stated. Some outdoor sites depend on weather or operating schedules, so we set a clear alternative rather than filling the quote with names that cannot fit your travel time.
Payment and what follows
The quote comes with clear validity, payment stages and policies for each item. After approval, we match names and dates and issue confirmations in the suppliers' sequence. Before travel, we review official requirements, flights, addresses, arrival arrangements and the driver meeting point; later changes remain subject to the written terms.
The rule for a fair comparison
Ask the same questions of every quote: Are flights included in the total? What is the baggage allowance? What are the hotel names, room categories and meals? Is the vehicle private, and what are its hours? Which tours and tickets are confirmed? What are the child charges? When does the price expire? What are the change, cancellation and refund terms? Matching answers make a price difference understandable; missing detail does not make the lower number better value.
We do not promise the absolute lowest price, blanket free cancellation, or a guaranteed visa or entry. Our role is to turn “a Bosnia trip from Riyadh” into a quote you can read and check before committing, and explain alternatives if a flight or room changes before confirmation.

BEFORE REQUESTING YOUR PACKAGE
Bosnia packages from Saudi Arabia: questions
How much does a Bosnia package from Saudi Arabia cost?
Current prices are on request because they depend on departure city, dates, flights, baggage, traveller numbers, room allocation, hotels and transport. We send a quote in Saudi riyals stating its validity, inclusions and exclusions before payment.
When will I receive the final price?
The price depends on travel dates, departure city, traveller numbers, room allocation and requested services. Ask for a written quote stating the current price, its validity and what it includes before confirmation.
How long is the suggested Bosnia itinerary?
The balanced outline is 7 days and 6 nights between Sarajevo and Mostar. It can be extended to 9 days and 8 nights to add time in nature and reduce the pressure of transfers. The final allocation follows flight times and availability.
Does the package include flights from Riyadh?
We do not assume flights are included. On request, we detail flights from Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam, connections, booking class and baggage. The quote then states whether flights are within the total or priced separately.
Which hotels are used in the package?
We suggest 4- or 5-star hotels after knowing your dates and room requirements, then state each name, area, category, room type, meals and cancellation policy in the quote. We do not advertise an unverified available hotel.
Are transfers and a private driver included?
Airport transfers, Sarajevo–Mostar transport and tours can be included with a private driver or shared service. The quote must specify the vehicle, service hours, waiting time and whether parking and tolls are included.
Do Saudi citizens need a visa for Bosnia?
The Bosnia MFA's 2026 guidance lists an exemption for Saudi ordinary-passport holders from 1 June to 30 September 2026, with up to 60 days within that period. It says a visa is required for stays after 30 September 2026. Do not assume the summer exemption applies to autumn or a future season; check the current official rule for your passport and dates before a restricted booking.
Is the itinerary suitable for families and children?
Yes, when driving hours, children's ages, room types and required safety seats are taken into account. We allow rest after arrival, balance cities with nature, and check access to each activity instead of packing the day with too many stops.
Can you arrange a Bosnia honeymoon package?
Yes. Transfers can be reduced, quieter accommodation selected and a private experience added. However, bed type, view and any special-occasion arrangement are not confirmed unless written into the quote and then confirmed by the supplier.
What should I send for an accurate quote?
Your departure city, flexible or exact dates, adult numbers, children's ages, room count, hotel level, duration, nature or city priorities, and whether you need flights, a driver, insurance or visa assistance.
